Service Description
** GRIP SOCKS REQUIRED ** Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise that can be taken right up to the point of birth. We run small Reformer classes, which allow for individual modifications. Our Teachers and not only trained in teaching Prenatal Pilates, but they have experienced Pilates during pregnancy themselves. We always take your individual needs into account and you’ll complete a selection of screening questions as you book this course. We will make any modifications to the exercises when needed. We focus on technique, pelvic floor work and promoting healthy movement. Pilates is considered one of the best forms of exercise both during and after pregnancy, it’s great at building core stability, strengthening abdominals, back and pelvic floor, allowing for an easier pregnancy, delivery and it's amazing to have prepped and worked, ready for an efficient & strong recovery. The class includes gentle exercise in a variety of positions that suit any stage of pregnancy, breath work and relaxation. If you have been attending Mat or Reformer Pilates Classes with us you can join anytime, if you are new to the studio, you can join at 14+ weeks. This class has limited spaces of 7 students. Your payment is non-refundable, however, if you request to reschedule within 12 hours, before the class start date & time, then you should be able to do so via the system; logging in and selecting a future date of this particular class type.
